Job Description: Telehandler Operator, London W2

Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Safely and efficiently operate a telescopic handler (Telehandler) on a multi-storey construction site, lifting and placing building materials, plant, and equipment to precise locations as directed by the site team.
- Conduct daily pre-use checks (PUWER) and basic maintenance, reporting any defects or issues immediately to the site supervisor to ensure machinery is always in a safe, working condition.
- Work closely with the ground team, Demolition Labourers, and Logistics Coordinators to facilitate a smooth flow of materials, minimising downtime and optimising site productivity.
- Adhere strictly to all site-specific safety plans, method statements (RAMS), and CPCS regulations. Actively participate in daily tool-box talks and promote a culture of safety-first operations.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of delivery vehicles, ensuring secure and balanced loads, and maintaining clear and safe access routes around the site.
Candidate Requirements & Qualifications
1 Essential Certifications
- Valid CPCS (Blue Card) or NPORS Telehandler Operator Card.
- Valid CSCS Card (preferably Blue Skilled Worker).
- Proof of CITB Health, Safety & Environment test within last two years.
2 Experience & Attributes
- Minimum 2 years' proven experience operating Telehandlers on UK construction sites.
- Strong understanding of lifting plans, load charts, and safe slinging practices.
