Job Description: Slinger Signaller in Aberdeen

Main Responsibilities:

1. Attach and detach lifting equipment to loads, ensuring secure and balanced lifts.

2. Direct and guide crane operators using hand and radio signals to safely move loads.

3. Inspect lifting gear and equipment for defects or wear, reporting any issues immediately.

4. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.

5. Maintain accurate records of lifting operations and equipment maintenance.

6. Collaborate with other team members to plan and execute lifting tasks efficiently.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

1. Valid Slinger Signaller certification (CPCS Card or equivalent).

2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

3. Ability to interpret technical drawings and lift plans.

4. Proficient in hand and radio signaling techniques.

5. Strong understanding of health and safety practices in lifting operations.

6. Physically fit to work in demanding environments.

Experience:

1. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Slinger Signaller in construction or industrial settings.

2. Familiarity with a wide range of lifting equipment and techniques.

3. Experience working in offshore or onshore oil and gas projects is advantageous.
