Core Responsibilities & Daily Duties
- Safely operating counterbalance forklifts, reach trucks, or PPTs to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise within the warehouse or yard.
- Efficiently loading and unloading goods from vehicles including lorries, vans, and containers, ensuring secure stacking and compliance with weight limits.
- Conducting daily pre-shift equipment checks (FLT) and reporting any defects or maintenance issues immediately to the site supervisor.
- Accurately picking orders using RF scanners or pick sheets, ensuring correct quantities and product codes for dispatch.
- Maintaining a clean, tidy, and organised work area, adhering to strict 5S or similar housekeeping standards.
- Working closely with warehouse teams, Groundworkers, and transport staff to ensure smooth workflow and meet daily targets.
- Strictly adhering to all site-specific Health & Safety regulations, including wearing correct PPE and following safe systems of work.
- Completing relevant paperwork and digital logs for stock movements, deliveries, and inventory counts.
Essential Requirements & Qualifications
