Job Description: CPCS Slinger Placement in Cambridge

Main Responsibilities:

1. Attach loads to lifting equipment using appropriate slinging techniques and equipment

2. Direct and guide the movement of suspended loads to ensure safe and accurate placement

3. Inspect lifting equipment and accessories for defects and report any issues

4. Communicate effectively with crane operators and other team members using hand signals and radio communication

5. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies

Required Skills & Qualifications:

1. Valid CPCS Slinger/Signaller card (A40)

2. Excellent communication and teamwork skills

3. Ability to interpret technical drawings and lift plans

4. Knowledge of safe slinging techniques and load capacity calculations

5. Physically fit to carry out manual handling tasks

6. Good attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset

Experience:

1. Minimum 2 years of experience as a CPCS Slinger/Signaller in construction or industrial environments

2. Familiarity with various types of lifting equipment, such as mobile cranes, tower cranes, and excavators

3. Experience working on a variety of construction projects, such as residential, commercial, and infrastructure
