Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties

• General Cleaning & Sanitisation: Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas including classrooms, hallways, staff rooms, offices, and toilets. This involves dusting, wiping surfaces, mopping hard floors, and vacuuming carpets to a high standard.
• Specialist Area Maintenance: Deep clean and sanitise high-touch points and sensitive areas such as science labs, art rooms, food technology kitchens, and sports changing rooms, using appropriate cleaning agents and methods.
• Waste Management & Recycling: Empty all bins and recycling containers daily, ensuring proper segregation of waste in line with the school's environmental policy and local council regulations.
• Restocking & Inventory: Monitor and replenish supplies in bathrooms and cleaning cupboards, such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper, reporting low stock levels to the site manager.
• Window & Glass Cleaning: Clean internal glass partitions, doors, and lower-level windows to maintain a bright, clear environment.
• Periodic Deep Cleaning: Carry out scheduled deep cleaning tasks during school holidays, such as carpet shampooing, wall washing, and cleaning of furniture and fixtures.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to COSHH regulations when handling cleaning chemicals, store materials safely, and immediately report any maintenance issues, hazards (e.g., wet floors, broken equipment), or security concerns.

What We're Looking For: Essential Requirements
