Job Description:
We are seeking experienced Crane Operators to join our team in Hendon. The successful candidates will be responsible for safely operating various types of cranes on construction sites and in other industrial settings.
Main Responsibilities:
- Operate mobile cranes, tower cranes, and overhead cranes safely and efficiently
- Lift, move, and place heavy materials and equipment according to project specifications
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
- Communicate effectively with ground crew and other site personnel
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies
- Read and interpret load charts, site plans, and project documents
- Assist in setting up and dismantling cranes when required
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Valid crane operator certification (CPCS card or equivalent)
- Thorough knowledge of crane operations and safety procedures
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and depth perception
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
- Physical fitness to climb and perform occasional heavy lifting
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and digital communication
Experience:
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience operating cranes in construction or industrial settings
- Experience with multiple crane types preferred
- Familiarity with construction site operations and procedures
